The Prime Minister Gives Social Assistance to Everyone Relocated to Run Ta Ek

Siem Reap: Prime Minister Hun Sen has decided to allow everyone who relocated to Run Ta Ek village, Banteay Srei district, Siem Reap province to receive social assistance cards regardless of living conditions and income.

The Prime Minister ordered the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation and the Ministry of Planning to arrange this as soon as possible, as nearly 8,000 families have been relocated to Run Ta Ek village.

According to the Prime Minister, only 800 million US dollars to help the people is not a big deal. This mandate is valid for ten years.

The Prime Minister said this at a public forum during a meeting with the residents in Run Ta Ek village, Banteay Srei District, Siem Reap province this Saturday morning, 1 October 2022.
